Job Title: Junior Web Developer / Programmer

Overview:
Zero-One Design Limited is a long established and growing website development company, based in Tamworth, Staffs. We specialise in online recruitment systems, recruitment websites, online databases, jobs boards, mobile websites, e-commerce and content management websites.

With the growing demand for our services, we are looking for a new member to join our development team. The kind of individual we are looking for is a natural & proactive programmer.

A keen interest in new technologies is essential, while being able to adapt to our coding practises and maintain our already established framework. We have a tight knit group who work closely together in a fast moving environment, so being part of the team is of great importance.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:
ZOD is in the process of developing new technologies in PHP & ASP.net (C#) and an understanding of Object-Orientated programming is essential to the role.

A key skill we would require is that you are able to support our ASP Classic developments, as we have an extensive portfolio which will require updates, support and development. This is a varied role with the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects.

As we have a global client base, excellent communication skills are essential as you would be involved in direct customer contact to help support our existing websites.

Time management and working under pressure are key factors; understanding your capabilities and having the ability to adapt to different to challenges on each project.

Skills we need:

OOP (PHP, ASP.NET C#)
ASP Classic
HTML
SQL Server
Javascript & Javascript Frameworks (jQuery)
CSS
XML / Integrating 3rd party API’s
VB Script

While experience in this field would be welcome, we will still consider applications from candidates with little experience or graduates, based on their individual key skills.

Salary: circa £20,000+ although this may be negotiated based upon experience.
